Sullair Australia is a leading air compressor manufacturer located within Dandenong, Victoria. George Covino is their dedicated Health, Safety & Environmental manager. One important area of George’s responsibility is energy efficiency. George appointed Greenwire Consulting to undertake an energy audit to determine if their facility could operate more efficiently to reduce electricity consumption. As an independent consultant Greenwire audited the site ensuring that both viable & non-viable energy saving projects were clearly highlighted.
Energy Audit Details – A Level 2 Energy Audit (compliant to Australian Standard AS 3598) was conducted on Sullair’s manufacturing complex in Melbourne. The energy audit reviewed office lighting & associated office area packaged air-conditioning. It also included electrical equipment within their large manufacturing area. The results of the energy audit were presented formally to senior management of Sullair Australia. The majority of energy saving opportunities were lighting related

The power consumption of individual switchboard final sub-circuits were checked by Greenwire’s electrician.
PACKAGED AC UNITS
Operating parameters of roof-top plant were thoroughly checked for energy efficiency.
